Há poucos dias foram apresentados os primeiros dados sobre as consequências resultantes da aprovação da nova lei relativa à Interrupção Voluntária da Gravidez - vulgo o Lei do Aborto.
Depois de um referendo que deu a vitória ao sim, sabendo-se que teríamos ciclicamente referendos até o sim ganhar, não vinculativo como a lei prevê, já foram milhares as mulheres que recorreram aos hospitais públicos e , claro, ao negócio privado que se instalou logo no dia seguinte é promulgação da lei, para efectuarem a IG.
Não, não é gaffe a retirada do "V" é que nos dados fornecidos não se dá conta dos processos em que a mulheres foram "V" ou foram "O" : "Voluntária" ou "Obrigada".
Soubemos que são muitas as jovens, o que vem mostrar a falência dos defensores do "sim" , que deram a sua luta por acabada com o resultado do referendo. Que existem casos significativos de mulheres que já fizeram mais de 2 IV em períodos curtos de tempo. que vem dar razão ao uso do aborto como método contraceptivo.
E, por último, um dado que funciona como o toque no castelo de cartas. Continuam a ser centenas as mulheres que recorrem aos serviços clandestinos. Como sempre se disse no lado do Não: "nunca acabariam os negócios da morte de fetos".
